Great walk with ever-changing scenery & amazing views! I would class this as medium, not hard. The track was easy to follow, however, a little muddy in places. I did Bare Rock & Morgans Walk as well. It took me about 1.5 hours to get to Cordeaux lookout, then about another 1/2 hour to get to Bare Rock. Both are definitely worthwhile. It was pretty cloudy on the way up, so views were limited, but it cleared up by the time I got to Bare Rock, so I was able to take in the views on the way back down. Beautiful! |

Definitely recommend this walk! It is easy, not very far & offers fantastic views. There is a footbridge to cross along the way. The views of the waterfalls were amazing. The falls were epic after the recent rainfall, with a super bright rainbow to top it off!

Lovely coastal walk. We only did part of this walk, from Town Beach to Shelly Beach. The beaches were very rough & the water was up really high due to crazy weather systems.

Beautiful falls & amazing to see after a lot of rain! The walk was easy with a paved path the whole way. Watch your step...we saw a red belly black snake beside the path! There's some work going on at the moment, so one of the viewing platforms over the national park was not accessible.

Great walk to amazing views! The walk to the Gorge Lookout is easy, however I would rate the Chandler Walk as medium. The track is easy to follow but it is not paved & there is a lot of downhill on the way in, so expect a bit of a climb on your way back. The track is also a little narrow in places but nothing too crazy. The view at the end was breathtaking!

Another beautiful walk! We did this walk anti-clockwise in 6 hours. It wasn't a hard walk, just long. The first half of the walk had plenty of waterfalls & creek crossings. The track was a little muddy & had lots of tree roots & rocks. A couple of sections where quite narrow & others slightly blocked by fallen trees. The first half of the walk took 4 hours, as we stopped to enjoy the scenery, take photos & look for blue crayfish...we saw quite a few! The 2nd half of the walk was back along the border track. The return trip only took us 2 hours as it was mainly a rainforest walk & the track was a lot wider & smoother.

We went up Palm Gorge and down SE Ridge. We were originally planning on coming down Waterfall Gorge but took a wrong turn somewhere. Palm Gorge was beautiful. Not overly hard, just a constant uphill rocky scramble. Nice view at the top. Slightly blocked by a few trees but still amazing! Coming down SE Ridge we lost the track a couple of times. It was a lot more open in places with great views. The track was not always obvious though. Quick side trip to Waterfall Gorge which was another beautiful spot. Overall a great scenic hike. Keen to go again and start the loop at Waterfall Gorge. |

Loved this walk! The track to the falls itself is gorgeous. It follows alongside a creek for the most part, with a few creek crossings. Your feet will get wet. Best to just accept that from the start. Such a beautiful spot.

Just wow!!! If leaving from the visitor centre this is a massive day hike. Approx 30km round trip that took me 9 hours. I was lucky enough to see a platypus in the first creek crossing at the beginning of the day. The start of the hike to Battelship Spur is from within Boowinda Gorge. Just keep walking into the gorge until you come across a big rock pointing to a steep rocky scramble on the right hand side. That's where the fun begins. After that, expect a lot of steps, a couple of ladders, & know that every time you think you're almost at the top, it just keeps going. There were a couple of sections where the path was quite narrow beside a steep drop, but for the most part it was fine. In the end you are rewarded with a stunning view! |

Such an amazing place! We were lucky enough to hear someone singing inside. The ladder to the entrance is quite steep & may be a little intimidating for those that are scared of heights. Inside the ampitheatre is sooo much cooler than outside.

Pretty little spot! Quite a lot of steps leading up to it. Amazing how much cooler it is when you get there though, it's like someone switched the air con on. Nice little stream with many of the rocks in the water stained red. Also a bunch of tree ferns & giant king ferns. Liked it so much we went back a second time.
