Dangar Falls

New South Wales

Start at the viewing platform overlooking the falls. Then follow the path downhill to the base of the falls. The bichumen path is in disrepair but has been replaced in some sections with a wooden staircase. You can swim at the base of the falls though jumping and diving is prohibited.

From the centre of Dorrigo, take Hickory St, which runs into Vine St. Follow the road until you see the sign.

Comments

A great spot for the family. I stopped in at the National Park office to check if there were any waterfalls I could take the dog to and this was their suggestion. A very short walk, easy to find and pet friendly. Beware of stinging nettles though. My daughter was stung quite badly... I guess that must be the 'danger'!
