| Really could not get excited about this walk, as there was absolutely nothing to see. Sheer cliffs in the gorge, but that was about it. | ||||

| Uluru yesterday, The Olgas today. The highlight, was Karingana lookout on the saddle, where it gives you the impression you are entering some hidden valley, surrounded by domed rocks; fantastic. | ||||

| Well, what a splendid climb. Could we be the 15th and last people to tick this walk on Aussie Bushwalking, as the walk closes on 26th October 2019? We were so lucky, as on a three day stop over at Uluru, this morning was the only time the walk was open, due to high winds. | ||||

| You climb the rock and then want to walk around it on the same day, are you crazy? Well, we cheated a bit and cycled most of it, whilst stopping to explore Mutitjulu Waterhole and Kantju Gorge etc. | ||||

| Interesting walk, aided by the numerous information panels and bird life around the reservoir. A little confusing with the roadside walk back through town to the start. | ||||

| We are on a 8,500km road trip out to the red centre and this was one of the first places we stayed and the first walk of 33 logged. Great walk to stretch your legs and have a look around after a day's drive. | ||||

Benarkin to Linville- Part of BVRT (Brisbane Valley Rail Trail) |
14 Apr, 2019 |
Medium |
18km one-way 4.5 hrs |
|
| A spare day while camping at Somerset lake, gave us the opportunity to take the family on our first stroll along the BVRT. Lovely sunny Sunday and although the little ones did not make it to the end and instead were driven up to Linville to meet us for lunch at the pub, it was a great morning's exercise. | ||||
|
Baxter Falls - Southern Approach (Kondalilla National Park) |
2 Apr, 2019 |
Medium |
7.6km return 3 hrs |
|
| It is almost two years to the day, since we walked to Baxter Falls from the north. Difficulty? About the same by my reckoning. With the recent storms, I was looking forward to more water over the falls, and I was not disappointed, but still able to rock hop across the creek for a better view. | ||||

Point Glorious (Mapleton National Park) |
25 Feb, 2019 |

| Yep, the reward is in the views from the lookout, as the walk in was not very exciting, being just a gravel road. | ||||

|
Wappa Falls (Mapleton National Park) |
25 Feb, 2019 |
Easy |

Cooloolabin Dam (Sunshine Coast) |
25 Feb, 2019 |
Easy |

|
| Having just done Point Glorious, this walk was an easy option on the way out. Not a sole about, except for a few wild pigs heard squealing and snuffling in the undergrowth! Interesting that there is no restriction to stop you walking under the dam wall and slipway from the bottom of the car park. | ||||
|
Komine Circuit (Parklands Conservation Park) |
18 Feb, 2019 |

|
| This was the most confusing walk and even with the map, I made a mistake, going straight out to the far side of the park, instead of turning right down Under Hill track. | ||||

| First ventured into the Parklands in 2017, so this was an opportunity to complete the rest of the walks. Lovely and peaceful, but can't say that I could get very excited about them. Despite what the information board says, there are no longer glimpses of the coast through the trees! | ||||
