| All trails seem to be walking & biking trails, I saw a few mountain bikers and only one walker. Some nice trails through open gum tree forest on the hills and more dense she-oak forest down in the valleys. Quite hilly, in the north section at least. | ||||

| My first proper scramble at the top - exciting stuff :) Walk back down was a little scary, just lots of lose dirt & stones, and extremely steep. Would not try this in anything other than dry conditions. | ||||

| Simple straight paved path up. Big open lookout building at the top has 360 degree views, and information about what you can see in each direction - look up at the eaves. Amazing sunset behind the other mountains. | ||||

| I did an inland track version of this walk - found a nice footpath off Samarinda Way, and just kept on walking. All loose sand, so more of a workout that you might expect. Nice smells of wildflowers in the air at the end of August. | ||||
