Don't usually comment on repeat climbs, but this was different. We got my three and half year old granddaughter up and back with no winging! Pushed her bum up over the steps going up and she abseiled down the chains like a monkey. |

I did this trail from the northern entrance in a clockwise direction and had I not had a copy of the map with me, once I left the main Tunnel Track, I would never have stayed on the correct route.

This was a reci to find another family friendly walk/cycle trail. With the pretty much flat terrain and the interest of the tunnel, this track achieves just that.

We must be crazy! Decided to 'run' this circuit as a training exercise, rather than the Rocky Creek circuit used by Parkrun. There are some steep sections that we had to revert to walking, but the down hills were great fun. Think I lost a kg in weight.

Close to home (and Anaconda!), this is an area we had not previously visited. Originally described as 'wheelchair friendly', it was obviously not, unless you had sand tyres: (I have changed it to 'Easy'). There are very few highlights, except for the occasional goanna, but a good trail for a bit of exercise. There was also a sign for the Robur Fire Trail at the start, but not investigated, but presume that it follows the edge of the NP to the river?

We thought that we would take it easy on our first Bushwalk of the new season, having had three months out due to injury and 'the heat'. Yep, we don't climb mountains at this time of year in South East Queensland! It was great to see that National Park staff were out strimming the paths to make them more clearly defined, as directions were a little unclear when crossing fire trails. We included the Tibrogargan Circuit on the walk and given that it was a scorching hot day we were pretty 'bushed' by the end. |

Busier than Noosa's Hastings Street! It's all about the mountain and what a fun day with the kids getting to the top within an hour and no complaints! We knew there were going to be a lot of people climbing and recon there had to have been 500 or more on the mountain at any one point in time; about 100 on the top alone, enjoying the two splendid lookouts. |
