Sandstone Overhang

Ravensbourne National Park

Very well signed track that follows the Rainforst and Palm Creek circuits and ends at some sandy overhangs that people refer to as "caves"

Getting there

Park in the carpark (if you hit beutel lookout you've gone too far). Walk starts from the bottom of the picnic area.

The overhang is really cool. There are two, so don't miss the second one.

Nice easy walk, turns out there's a 4WD track that takes you directly to the overhang. Sandstone overhang is quite pretty. Very popular on weekends.

Alice on 7 Jun, 2015

Excellent rain forest habitat, coupled with some massive gum trees with some fallen down across the track.

Shell on 11 Jan, 2015
