Best Of All Lookout

Springbrook National Park

It makes lofty claims... and meets them! This short walk is well worth the effort with excellent views of the Tweed Valley including Mt Warning, Byron Bay and The Cougals. Plus, it includes one of the most accessible stands of Antarctic Beech Forest (Nothofagus Moorei) in Queensland. If you haven't been there, make sure to stop off next time you're on the plateau.

Easy little walk, worth it for the view, although it was very crowded on a Sunday afternoon. Enjoyed the view. Great for those with little kids, or less fit and mobile people.

This was our last out of four walks on the day, we were a little over it once getting down to small lookout that was very busy. Would be a lovely view if clear, smog or smoke was smearing the view. If it was the only lookout you could get to it is worth it.

Very hazy day unfortunately so the view was limited.

The Antarctic trees were amazing and really beautiful. The forest was really pretty on this very easy little walk :)

A lovely short stroll. Misty and spooky through the trees. Considering it was so warm on the Coast it was a bit chilly up there.
I'm sure it is a beautiful view ...if you weren't in a cloud. Oh well next time.

Becareful driving along the road to the lookout and back at dusk as the damn wallabies jump out in front of the car, slow down. worth the hassel for the view ! Concrete path all the way.

Nice lookout and you pass some ancient trees that are very special. Very short walk.

Short easy sealed path. Chose a misty early morning to visit - cleared up a bit after about an hour of exploring the area looking for beeches other than the three beauties fenced off beside the path. Found the geocaching stash :)

Lovely little walk. Most challenging part is beating your way through the tourists. Went today and it was 8.5 degrees, so maybe rug up a bit.
