Very enjoyable in winter. Had to “deal” with a blue-tongued lizard on the trail. Remarkable volume level as he/ she was hissing at me. Wouldn’t label the track anymore suitable for wheelchairs. The bitumen path has certainly seen better days.

Just for exercise. No need to put the walk on the wishlist.. ..For scenic views I would rather stick to the Ocean track return (presently still closed) from Fleys Wildlife Parl or head over to Burleigh Heads NP.

Good exercise. Many steps. Partly constant M1 sound. The walk can be linked with other tracks and trails to reach from Currumbin Rock to Currumbin Valley.

Typical aussie eucalypt bush. Cockatoos and roos find a home here. A network of loops to choose from, many have a few steep sections. Good prep for the next summit climb. The centre road is some 20km return from end to end. Take a picture of the map when entering the trail area. Straightforward numbering system of each intersection.

Drizzling rain and late arvo sun peaking through the clouds gave us this time a perfect atmoshere.

A picturesque walk that ticks many boxes. We liked the extensive piccabeen grove, fruiting black beans and a few interesting buttressed trees and strangler figs. Walked it shortly after good rain-an added bonus. Access from Curtis Rd is a bit longer but more scenic in my view.
