We followed the Trail Notes but wanted to add some extra info:

NO DOGS - we took ours and only noticed the NO DOG signs once we entered the walk - as we had travelled some way to get to the walk we went ahead with our small dog on the lead but I wouldn't advise it as it is a Nature Reserve and I am sure the locals would not appreciate it !

SIDE NOTE: - we started at the south end of Pacific Esplanade BUT you can drive along this road until you reach the rocks if you just want to start at the bush ( you would still need to walk down it on the way back to get to your car though)

TRAIL NOTE: follow trail until it open up to a big clear 4 path section.
SIDE NOTE: there is a "smaller" open clear area with 4 trails first - go past this - through another lot of rocks until you hit a "larger" 4 path trail section ( the path on the left is more like road size than the trail so far)

SIDE NOTE - OPTUS TRAIL - towards the end of the Optus Trail there are two decent hills. Not hard but could be tricky for those not so mobile

SIDE NOTE- at the end of the trail when you reach the houses go RIGHT along the road ( Flinders) Right at Banool, Left at Shara ( Main intersection) Right at Kolora then Left at Helen street strigh over the bridge back to the carpark.
Tallebudgera Creek Circuit (Gold Coast)
26 Apr, 2019
Easy
8km return
2 hrs
Great walk - a bit few "steep" bits at the start but pretty flat after that.

Go under the main David Fleay's sign - follow the path to the right - mangrove walk- when you get to Ocean road go directly across and down the stairs. At bottom of stairs take Pindari Ave on the left and then Elanora Drive on the right right down to Awoonga Ave. This goes along Tally Creek to the bridge - go right across the bridge then right on the other side to follow the path along the water until Murlong Cres. Follow Murlong ( short) until Tallebudgera Drive, go right along Tally Drive until you hit the motor way - path goes right and across the bridge , right again through the park then along the road back to David Fleays !!!
