We did Wagawn and Hobwee in 6 hours in the rain. A complete white out which meant it was just walking around the rainforest for a while with no views. Still a fun day out and we heard a few Lyrebirds which was lovely :)
Well graded track, despite it being a mountain it seems pretty flat for the whole distance.

A fantastic walk with Brilliant views almost the entire way. Great for pack training.

Fun to explore the rocky outcrop, lots of tracks darting in various directions. Surprisingly popular on weekends. The walk itself is quite boring but still worth a visit. Maybe do the Ridge Track though.
Also, the map online is different to the map on the info board at the start of the walk. Completely different trails are shown.

Very popular walk for families. Lots of opportunities for a swim. The lookout displays views over the Valley of Diamonds. Very impressive. Quite a straightforward and well maintained track. Well worth your time if you're nearby.

Nice easy walk, turns out there's a 4WD track that takes you directly to the overhang. Sandstone overhang is quite pretty. Very popular on weekends.

1 hour 10 mins up, a fair bit longer down as I tried to move a boulder with my kneecap... the boulder won. Surprisingly picturesque and fun, opportunities for climbing if you go a little off track. Will definitely go again!

Pretty easy walk, just follow the 4WD track. A much longer walk if you don’t have a 4WD. We did this walk in about 2 hours (ran back to get the steep hill over and done with), it’s pretty steep but the walk in from Waterfall Creek Reserve is ridiculously steep and unrelenting. I did it not long ago but wouldn’t do it again. Keen to go back in Summer to explore the portals!
West Canungra Creek Circuit (Queensland)

Really lovely walk. Did this after heavy rain which made crossing the creeks more fun although there was an awful lot of white water - great deal of care was taken. When in doubt, follow the orange arrows nailed to trees. Hectic amount of waterfalls and a lot of wild life including spiny crays, red bellied black snakes and we saw our first wild quoll!!
Really fun day walk. We took 5 hours for the full circuit plus the small deviations to nearby waterfalls (a lot are not marked on maps).

Lots of little walks around this forest. A lot of popular bouldering locations too.
