A very challenging walk but a great workout and the view is definitely worth it. This was the second time I attempted this walk. The first time a few months ago I turned back and walked along the road as the fire trail was very overgrown. After crossing 2 creeks (very little water in them at the moment) take the righthand fork and you will soon see a sign pointing you in the right direction. The first 2ks are the hardest and there are markers after this which help. Would not do this in the middle of the day in summer as the track is quite exposed.

What an amazing part of the world! This was my first trip to Tasmania and I can't wait to go back. The first day was the toughest with my fear of heights and climbing up to Marion's lookout but we loved every day. We were extremely lucky and had perfect weather.

Was a really enjoyable easy walk. We did it in the opposite direction. Starting from the 2nd Trachyte carpark & following the fire trail to the Soldiers Settlement Trail. Highlight was the view of Mount Tibrogargan with the macadamia farm in the foreground.

A beautiful walk with lots of waterfalls and creek crossings. Would be difficult to attempt after heavy rain.

We camped at Binna Burra and treated ourselves to the 3 course meal at the end of a full day hiking. Was a bit pricey but worth it for the atmosphere and nice to relax with a glass of red wine. It was 20 degrees at midday and cold over night - in summer! Make sure to take extra layers.

An easy walk to do if you just have a short time to visit the area.
