Branching from the Rainforest Circuit, this walk ends in a one kilometre circuit featuring a dense grove of Piccabeen palms in rainforest and open eucalypt forest. A variety of birdlife can be seen and the track is suitable for all ages.
Nice place for short private walk.good for kids but not after the rail.about 400meters of the walk is narrow ,slippery and on the edge of a cliff .

Nice add on walk.

Abundant birdlife, overgrown track with obstacles like fallen logs and vines, start of track winds along a sheer verticle drop into a deep gully full of vegetation, temperature dropped too, rainforesty, took me a little over 1 hr to walk at a casual pace, quite flat the whole way, easy walking.

Added this onto the Mt Cordeaux and Bare Rock Hike just to add a few extra k’s on. This is a boring and overgrown track where you have to duck and weave through a number of overgrown/overhanging trees & weeds. There’s plenty of prickly weeds all along the track. It’s an easy track but full of weeds.

Took around 1.5hrs from carpark with our 6yo daughter. Early part of track has one steep side so well behaved (as ours is) kidlet is a must!

A fairly easy walk, without much challenge. I used it as a warm up before going over to the Mt. Mitchell track. The trail looks like it isn't getting much use as it has areas of debris, some trees over the path and one spot where I had to almost crawl through a meter of vines and thicket, not that I'm complaining because I enjoy a challenge.

Track was clear but a little overgrown in places -but for me that made it a little more exciting.

Did this after Mt Cordeaux/Bare Rock walk.
It looked like some maintenance work is taking place on this track as it looked a little scrappy ie offcuts etc.
Im sure this walk is a lot better than the way I saw it. Some nice changes between rainforest/dry scrub forests.

Quite an easy walk. Took us 1 hour (2x adults 2x kids 8&10yo). The track started clear then had some palm fronds over it - not a problem though. A good cool down after the Mt Mitchell hike.
Navigation to some bushwalks can be difficult. Automated navigation using Google Maps or Apple Maps may not be accurate. Additionally, Aussie Bushwalking doesn't always have accurate positions for where to park for a walk.
Please read the walk description for special directions and take extra care.
