Jacksonia Trail, Bellbird Trail, and Kokoda Trail Circuit

Mt. Coot-tha

This walk is a great workout training. A lot of people along this track are training for possibly Kokoda and carry large packs. It is very steep, you some times see mountain bikers ride up and down.

Nice winding run, I did this track and then finished off with the Kokoda trail but had to walk up most of that one🤣😂

Kokoda down hill can be slippery with the gravel.

Did the Jacksonia trail as a warm up before tackling the Kokoda incline...took our time, wasn't too bad, definitely a good challenge though.

Great hiking/training trek. Jacksonia is all downhill, easy as. Following it straight through until a primary intersection, left towards Beilby/Greenfird street, 800m to the Kokoda junction. That last km of Kokoda was a challenge for a relatively unfit guy like myself, but what a challenge to complete when you get to the top!

Great way to start the day. Loved the gentle start of this walk and one of the prettier tracks on Mt Cootha. Definitely a heart starter at the end but very achievable. Completed in an hour.

Jacksonia section was very easy. Kakoda hill was steep but not too long. 1hr 15 which included an extra 600 mts and a short break

Beautiful after the rain. Kokoda always gets my heart pumping. 1 good hour up Kokoda, down Jacksonia

Yes the Kokoda section is very steep, however as i went down this section and back up Jacksonia it was quite achievable

Easy walk, I would not class medium, for a challenge link this with Kokoda trail and finish walking up the Kokoda

Wander on 14 Feb, 2016

Easy walk, not sure why classed as medium. Finish the walk off going back up the Kokoda. Nice steep climb to the road.
