Getting there

Honeysuckle picnic area is on Barrington Forest Road between Gloucester and Scone between Cobark Park and Thunderbolt's Lookout.

Route/Trail notes

Begin at the Honeysuckle Picnic Area and follow the track in a clockwise direction. It will take you through Antarctic Beech into a gully filled with ferns, and then back again on a higher path back through the Antarctic Beech.  You will also see ferns under the Beech trees.

This is a really nice walk. There are so many ferns. We also saw a couple of lyrebirds while walking.
