Route/Trail notes

This walk involves walking down 200 steps to a short track that takes you to a lookout at the base of the falls. Return the same way.  There is also a lookout at the top but it's not real close to the falls and part of it is obscured by the trees. To see it properly, you really need to go to the bottom. It's well worth it though.

Permits/Costs

There is no cost.

Comments

Done the walk with my partner Dion. It was honestly very easy, just follow the path and you will reach the bottom in no time. There's a viewing platform at the end when you can see the waterfall. It is not the best fall that l have ever seen but it was nice anyway. I recommend it and it doesn't require and special fitness skills.

Third awesome waterfall for the day. I found it tough walk back up, but it isn't that far, so not too bad really. If you're in the area, don't miss walking through the Californian Redwoods another 1.3km down Binns Road. While they're not that old they're still really impressive.
