Completed this in 5.4 hours with a few stops - doing this anticlockwise provided for a tough last 4km back up from the valley. I think the highlights have to be the great amount of variety in the flora and forna along the track - with wildflowers bringing a spot of colour and the lookouts on cliff edges,

There are plenty of small running creeks or waterfalls to freshen up and fill up on water if required.

The track was slightly overgrown in some parts and doing this in shorts left me with a few scratches but do not think long pants are necessary .

This track is currently closed from the lookout onwards going down into the falls. I did this as a prelude to the ships stern circuit and found the Flora leading up to the falls to be without variation, the falls lookout is now the end of the track and are quite beautiful yet maybe not worth the 10kms to get there and back.

This is one of the best hikes I've ever done, so many beautiful waterfalls, track very easy to follow - started around 0930 and was done but 1230 with a swim at the twin rivers - the water was freezing but was well worth it and would recommend a dip. Don't be scared of the length or elevation changes - if your in your 20s - 40s and reasonably fit you will be totally fine with this one.
