| Left home at 3.30am. Got there at 5.15am. Watched the glorious sunrise from the summit and descended. It was rather chilly at the top but a hot cup of coffee and the sun rise was worth the effort. | ||||

| I followed the 4wd track to the campsite then went off track about 200m down the England Creek 4wd track to the main summit of Northbrook Mountain. Followed a rough footpath to the Eastern peak and then turned north down a steep and loose foot trail to the 4wd track about 2 km from the start of the track. | ||||

| I started the walk down Joyners Ridge Road for about 7 km all downhill. Turned right at the joining of a number of tracks and followed this track for about another 5km of up hil and down hill till I reached the causeway where the campsite is. Then I followed England creek 4wd track all the way up Northbrook Mountain across NorthBrook Mountain and joined Lawnton road about 2 km from its start. I turned right onto the graded trail back to the Western Window and maiala picnic area. | ||||
