Completed this today….first 2 klm is uphill then a steady decline all the way to the 2 lookouts….I am not a fast walker but still completed the whole thing in 4 hours….beautiful scenery and well worth it…difficulty moderate - heart rate up a bit on the way back but ok…
Trachyte and Tibrogargan Circuit (Glass House Mountains National Park)
7 Sep, 2020
Medium
7.1km return

did this one yesterday....clocked it at 6.6klm including the small detour to the Jack Ferris lookout....trail is in good condition, well signposted...overall an easy walk...mostly dense forest, toilets are at the carpark, gpx and directions here are accurate...very enjoyable and not sure why it isnt as popular as some of the others on the sunshine coast...
Piccabeen Circuit (Mapleton National Park)
3 Aug, 2020
Medium
6.9km return

did this one today- clocked it at 7klm...easy to find and all the info here is spot on...the walk itself is mainly on wide logging trail and not overly pretty say compared to a few others in the area...no views, took me 1hr 35 min -- a few hills but not hard at all....ok for a one off..
Chermside Hills, Raven St Reserve, and Milne Hill Circuit (South East Queensland)
26 Jul, 2020
Medium
7.1km return

done this twice recently -- its sort of someone has made up their own walk as it part suburbs, part bush and a little drab in parts....the instructions are ok but i got confused a number of times....the crossing of Rode Rd to follow the fence line (house with blue/green windows is overgrown and hard to find -- and i couldn't find the track from the water tank that heads to Killarney Place -- -when u start make sure you enter at the first entrance on the left side of Trouts Rd turning from Hamilton Rd and not further up........overall though its ok and a bit of an adventure following the instructions....
Cascades Circuit (Main Range National Park)
18 Jul, 2020
Medium
9km return
4 hrs
i enjoyed this walk..easy to find, basically at the end of the road - i went clockwise along the creek and ended with the downhill fire trail...many creek crossings early and posts on the other side so u cant get lost..water shallow so just a bit of rock hopping across shallow streams,,i clocked it closer to 8klm....quite hilly in places so expect occasionally to get the heart rate up...overall though its very enjoyable
Box Forest (Lamington National Park)

did this one yesterday,,,i clocked 12.2 klm on my gps and completed it in 3 hours 20 mins with a couple of 10 min breaks...overall this is one of my favourite walks....not overly hard...the uphill is more slopes than stairs...id recommend wear shoes with some grip as the track was a little slippery in places....the walk starts near the toilet block (left hand side of the road opposite the cafe) at Reilly's and after that its well sign posted.
Baroon Lookout (Kondalilla National Park)
11 Jun, 2020
Easy
4.9km return

nice walk -- about 1 hour 10 minutes return at a moderate pace -- the elevation wasn't too hard.. nice view from the lookout...id do this one again..
Baxter Falls - Southern Approach (Kondalilla National Park)
9 Jun, 2020
Medium
7.6km return
3 hrs
Did this yesterday...all the info posted already is spot on....took us about 2 hours 20 minutes return....a little puffed on the return leg as its quite steep....the creek and waterfall are worth seeing...next time ill venture further on to mapleton falls on the same track...
Cronan Creek Falls Track (Mt Barney National Park)
4 Jun, 2020
Medium
13km
5 hrs
walk is enjoyable....started from the Yellow Pinch car park,,,note its a dirt road for about 10 mins before you arrive....the walk starts with a fairly steep incline for about 600 metres and then flattens out to an easy walk..the creek doesn't look much but the jewel is the swimming hole with the fall at the end....took me about 3 hours 20 mins return at a moderate pace....Boonah is a nice place for a bite to eat as well...
Gold Creek Reservoir (South East Queensland)
22 May, 2020
Medium
5.5km return
2 hrs
did this one yesterday anti clockwise....enjoyable walk,, not difficult..narrow track in places with good views of the dam..
Upper Kobble Creek South Branch (D'Aguilar National Park)
21 May, 2020
Medium
4.5km return
3 hrs
did this one today -- the first part is quite easy..a few fallen logs across the track etc but i thought the 2nd part (turn left down the hill) was more difficult...this part of the track is not well defined and u have to follow pink ribbons tied to trees -- very steep going back...id recommend this only for experienced walkers and don't go alone..

I'll go back and walk to the airplane wreck and back instead of the turn left bit...
Keperra Saddle (Brisbane City Council Local Walks)
11 May, 2020
Medium
3.4km return
90 mins
did this one yesterday -- entered from Cobalt St and took the bitumen path up the hill into the forest....quite steep and a good work out..hardly any views due to the surrounding trees...i turned left down the fire trail towards Mungarie St -- keep in mind its steep down and this part is loose so sometimes i sort of walked down sideways so not to slip....good workout but not a pretty walk...took me about 50 minutes...
