The way out is consistently uphill. Just up and up and up. Be ready for that.

Have done this one several times before. Attempted it yesterday afternoon and got warned off by wild pigs. What is it with wild pigs in D'Aguilar NP recently?

Clockwise trail run. Started about 6am on a humid and heavily overcast morning. Gorgeous - though obscured - views of surrounding peaks and valleys in fog. This track is wide and clear. More like a gravel road. No scrambling (which I define as halfway to rock-climbing), but the steep section really is a slipping hazard. The eastern section has a few confusingly marked intersections, but you can't go too far wrong. Plus, you'll have mobile coverage throughout so you can just look up Google maps. Passed a few dog walkers, a few horse riders and even a group of trail-bikers. Good cafe nearby for a post-run coffee.

Did part of this track. Very dry and very hot. As trail running: A Grade - well-formed and well-marked trails with some crazy gradients. Nature: C+ grade - dry, boring and scrubby. Scenery: B Grade - occasional views.

Tried again to find the track. I took the left fork in the photo named "The first unknown/unsigned fork". Quite dark and a lot of logs across the narrow track. Jogged down it for about 20 mins (roughly 2km) and didn't see any branching paths. Then I came across a herd of feral pigs. A large one started giving warning growls that I was in their patch. So I turned right around and jogged back the way I'd come. Hidden Waterfall remains hidden.

Attempted to find the walk from Lepidozamia Break, but no luck. It's hard to tell if you're at the correct path fork ... or whether that's just a dead-end.
