| Clockwise trail run. Started about 6am on a humid and heavily overcast morning. Gorgeous - though obscured - views of surrounding peaks and valleys in fog. This track is wide and clear. More like a gravel road. No scrambling (which I define as halfway to rock-climbing), but the steep section really is a slipping hazard. The eastern section has a few confusingly marked intersections, but you can't go too far wrong. Plus, you'll have mobile coverage throughout so you can just look up Google maps. Passed a few dog walkers, a few horse riders and even a group of trail-bikers. Good cafe nearby for a post-run coffee. | ||||

| Did part of this track. Very dry and very hot. As trail running: A Grade - well-formed and well-marked trails with some crazy gradients. Nature: C+ grade - dry, boring and scrubby. Scenery: B Grade - occasional views. | ||||

| Tried again to find the track. I took the left fork in the photo named "The first unknown/unsigned fork". Quite dark and a lot of logs across the narrow track. Jogged down it for about 20 mins (roughly 2km) and didn't see any branching paths. Then I came across a herd of feral pigs. A large one started giving warning growls that I was in their patch. So I turned right around and jogged back the way I'd come. Hidden Waterfall remains hidden. | ||||
