Great hike during the week, no other hikers on the path. Just bliss. Spend the day here , couple smaller ones too and lunch along the way. Nice views to be had

Whilst the crowds were on the beach checking out the swell, I headed to Yandina for a nice Sunday hike. Yes, you can drive up but as per previous hike I park the car near the 4WD high clearance sign and hiked up/down. Great views, very quite :-)

The rock scrambling portion makes it fun. Do wear appropriate footwear though ! Nice views along the way

Nice early Sat morning walk. Fairly quite and relaxing. Not much water as such being a dry wet season so far still nice trickle to enjoy.

Relatively quiet part of the park even on a Saturday. Easy track to follow , may after heavy rain be challenging to cross a creek or two but would say most of the time this should not pose an issue.

Nice hike , good chance of encountering some local wildlife. Very quite out there.

Thargomindah is a nice lil town to stay for the night when heading out west. Did a couple walks around town including the river walk. Although some local may swim in here best to ask them where the safest place would be.

I did not know that this town had the first Hydro power plant. Easy stroll along the towns roads , plenty history to be absorbed.

Did this (stupidly) enough in December , so a little warm and the lake was bone dry. Bit of a disappointment. Best to do this when cooler weather and preferable water in lake. Had a very big roo coming up to check me out at one stage.
