Very interesting history and rock paintings. This is right at the end of the main gorge and not technically difficult to get to but it’s a long walk.

We experienced this area on the way to Big Bend. The land is peaceful and lends itself to reflection. Take the time to read the informational plaques outlining indigenous history in this area as well as the artwork.

Starts out from the visitors center & is well marked up to the Art Gallery turn off. After this the walk flattens out however is not so well marked & requires some common sense to find the track in a few areas. Great walk & worth continuing up to the Big Bend for a break before returning. River crossings a bit wobbly in places. Allow a whole day if taking time to visit the sites along the route.

We did this walk with four kids including a five year old who had to be carried much of the way. It was well worth the walk though.
