Reading most of the comments about this walk I figured it would be paved with handrails and escalators on the steep bits! Was nicely surprised to find it a great day bushwalk. It has been well thought out with the track going behind waterfalls at both ends (nothing beats sticking your head into the cool water). Recommend doing this after rain so the waterfalls and creeks are flowing well, but water = leeches so be prepared. Wore long pants, gaiters and was vigilant - meant for a 'warm' walk, but they kept the blighters at bay. Had lunch at Poonyahra Falls - beautiful spot, but we struggled to find decent shade. Did the walk anticlockwise so we ended up with stunning views (and cool breezes) at the end, after a hot slog up out of the valley. Recommend starting early to try and miss most of the heat of the day.

Second time around for this track. Always a good one, with stunning views and ever changing landscapes. Last time through we were hit by a rainstorm on the last leg. It was great to watch it roll into the valley, but we missed a number of great views. This time perfect weather all the way and a well earned rest at the end.

Great walk with some tricky parts and lots of leeches. Wear long pants, gaiters and as an added defence Bushman's Insect Repellent. As well as leeches. this stuff keeps away mossies, sand flies and ugly people in bars (not scientifically proven)! Scenery changes regularly and there are some beautiful waterfalls.

Great walk. Some really stunning waterfalls. Did whole lot in 5 hours carrying 16kg pack (Tassie training!). Too wet for a lunchbreak so walked right thru to O'Reilly's. A number of trees over the track made things fun. Lookouts were all whiteouts due to low cloud. Creek crossings can be a bit tricky with one particular crossing difficult to find track on the other side. Recommend long pants and gaiters to keep leeches at bay.
