Getting there:

Start at the QPW Information Centre, located end of Park Rd, NOOSA HEADS QLD. This is a very busy area particularly on weekends and holidays with the parking limited. You may well have to use the parkland carparks at the other end of Hastings Street, which will add about another 2km to get back to the start of the walk.

Done this walk at least a dozen times, it's a nice brisk stroll without much challenge. It's extremely scenic, ocean views the whole way, with lots of fun detours for beaches and rock pools. There are areas where the path is extremely narrow and it can get busy, so there may be some awkward shoulder-rubbing at the narrowest points when people are coming back the other way or you're overtaking. If you don't like a lot of other people around this isn't the walk for you, if you love looking at the ocean then it is.

Lucky to live in this part of the world and have this great walk at our doorstep. Have done on several occasions and like to show visitors when they are in town.

Entered the walk from the Sunshine beach side as there is plenty of parking along Park Edge Rd. McAnally St entrance only has 4 car spaces but goes directly to Alexandria beach [clothing optional on beach].

Easy walk along all of the tracks out along the Tanglewood track to Hell's Gate and then follow along the Coast track towards Noosa where there are many tourists and site seers walking. Returned via Noosa Hill to the far end of Park Edge Rd.

Lots of butterflies basking in the sun spots on the track and magnificent views along the coast from the headland.

The track is quite sandy and is easily walked in casual shoes.

Nice walk, easy for the family. Probably one of the most walked track in Australia.

Very windy on the coastal track, worth the stop at Hells Gates. Took about 1hr 20mins. Very easy walk.

Rained pretty much all the way. Good views on the coastal track not much on the Tanglewood track.
