Kinbombi Falls

Proceed to waypoint 6.5km east of Goomeri, 19km south-west of Kilkivan on Wide Bay Highway. Turn south onto Kinbombi Road and follow for 4km to picnic area. Well signed. Camping area with picnic and toilet facilities. 3 separate lookouts, accessed via short tracks with lots of stairs

Awful. Barely a trickle.

We attend quite often. Must like stairs to do this one. Been visiting for several years awaiting rain to fill but still waterfall is only a trickle. Still pretty though.

CassyN on 2018

Was a bit on the dry side of weather things, one to be return too after some rain I say !

Lots and lots of very small steps. Calf burner. Best to do when decent rain has been as the falls don't run otherwise.

Shell on Dec, 2015

Not much water this time of year but still not bad to take a look at.

NerdTrails on 30 Jul, 2014

Water was a little green. The lookout further along the valley is spectacular and just a little precarious.

Viking on 24 Apr, 2014

Easy walk down to the falls, however a number of stairs to walk back up. Nice little picnic area at the top.
The falls area is quite interesting, be careful near the cliff edges. The water is bright Green.
