Pholis Gap (from Mt Nardi)

Nightcap National Park

Sets out from the Mt Nardi carpark and follows the Mt Matheson walk till the track branches to the left at the 1.5km mark. There are alot of steps to get to the Pholis Gap lookout, however when you arrive there a plaque explains the Gap look out. The lookout is virtually over grown and all that can be seen is a distant view.

Quite a few steps on walk - good for cardio work out. View at end of walk was overgrown and not very interesting but overall an enjoyable walk.

Lots of steps down and the return trip to the road was really overgrown but an easy incline. Huge trees and when we stopped for a break some curious King Parrots and Regent Bowerbirds came close. Loved this walk.

Nice views, track is a little over grown. Lots of steps, moderately steep.

Alot of steps. Not much of a view due to the area being overgrown. You do get a few glimpse through the bush but nothing too spectacular. Track starting to become overgrown with alot of debris and leaf litter covering the steps and track. Hard to recommend due to neglect of the track and little to no view.
