Starting at Mount Nardi picnic area, the Mount Matheson loop takes you on a short walk through rainforest. You can combine this hike with other tracks for a longer day walk.

From Nimbin travel along Sibley St which turns into Tunable Falls Rd which turns into Newton Dr. Drive right to the end of Newton Dr and you will find the start of the Historic Nightcap Walking Track.
