Route/Trail notes

The walk is very popular and has a very well marked trail with heaps of signs pointing the way. The vast majority of the walk is a steady ascent up the trail until you reach the summit boulders. From there expect some mild scrambling (hand grips have been installed in the rock for the tricky parts), ascend the ladder and arrive at the Skywalk which provides excellent views all the way to the ocean!

Permits/Costs

$15 per car per day.

Comments

Beautiful walk. Good fitness and shoes needed to get to the Granite Skywalk. Take a jacket - was freezing up there mid November

I did this walk on a Saturday and judging by the popularity it would appear this place is not a secret. I really enjoyed the trip particularly the scrambling/ladder part. The views are exceptional, the skywalk wraps right around the summit boulder so you get a wide range of views - all the way from the Stirling Range to the ocean. There is a smaller outlook below the skywalk for those with a crippling fear of heights.
