Late arvo sun gives a nice light to the top of gumtrees. Weekday offers reduced traffic/ dust.

What a downpour this arvo. Had the trail to myself on a Saturday arvo. Good occasion to test my rain gear. Thumbs up to council/NP office. New and clear signage.

All night rain and georgeous waterfall views in the morning. The frog concert was remarkable. Just a time slot to find a mate and disappear underground again,

Went for a late arvo walk due to hot day. Was rewarded with a rain and lightning show just after sunset. It got really busy on the road. The waterfalls could be heard in the darkness.

The valley lived up to its name today. Straight to the second lookout. Next the whole circuit clockwise. So I did the most breathtaking part of the walk three times. Worth every meter!

Late arvo. We had to share the whole gorge with another two visitors. The sunset colours were so mesmerising that we missed the sunset from the “sunset viewing area”. I would say we actually upgraded.

Not a good year for the spear lilies flower spikes. Perhaps effected by the bushfires last year. At least the plants are okay.
