Mermaid Mountain (D'Aguilar National Park)

Great walk, nice little area with a great view of Lake Manchester. Lots of spiders though and probably wouldn't be great for the middle of summer.
Swan View Heritage Tunnel (Western Australia)

Such a nice walk, although not well shaded and it got a bit hot. Very busy.
Headland Track / Resolute Loop (Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park)

Fantastic walk with lots of great views.
Camp Mountain Lookout (Brisbane Forest park D'Aguilar National Park)
29 Dec, 2020

Parking was a bit tricky as the street is a single lane type of thing. We finished the walk in an hour. Nice workout as the way there is nearly entirely up hill.

Figure 8 Pool (Royal National Park)

Not too hard. An enjoyable hike with good views. Be careful at the rock pools though. Even at low tide, unexpected waves would come up, and knock people over, dragging them around and nearly over the rock edge.
Jerusalem Bay (Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park)

Loved this walk! Super easy to do and clearly marked. In the warmer weather will be great to have a swim once you reach the bay at the end.
North Gorge Walk (Point Lookout) (North Stradbroke Island - Minjeeribah)
16 Jul, 2019
1.5km return
45 mins
Love this walk!! do it every time I am in Straddie. Is well marked with a proper fence, not like how it used to be. Definitely recommend as it is so scenic and beautiful.
Mt Maroon (Mt Barney National Park)
3 Jul, 2018
6km return
5 hrs
We got lost and didn't have anything to navigate with (oops) but found our way. Ended up at a great view after following somebody else's ribbons but I am pretty sure it wasn't where we were meant to be. Be careful, it was quite steep and and you will lose your footing if you're not careful.
Flinders Peak (Ipswich - Flinders Goolman Conservation Estate)
20 Jun, 2018
6.5km return
3.5 hrs
We loved this hike! Did it faster than recommended. Some rock scrambling but it wasn't too tricky. So much fun and amazing views. My favourite to date!
