Dularcha NP - Roses Circuit (Sunshine Coast)
15 Jul, 2018
Medium
8.1km return
2.5 hrs
We started our walk at Dorson Drive Mooloolah. The tracks are not clearly marked, so glad we took a printed map with us. Part of the Roses circuit is not accessible, near old Maleny Road due to being overgrown with vegetation, we nearly got lost had to turn around and backtrack back to Gully track. We walked approx 10kms and 2.5hrs. Tracks were steep in places and there were places that were very muddy, also lots of horse poo has lots of rider use these tracks. Overall we had a good day and enjoyed the walk.

Loved climbing Mt Coolum, I am not fit but managed to get all the way to the top. Beautiful views from up there. Lots of people coming and going, so be mindful of the steep climb and traffic. Well worth the climb!

Loved walking to the falls. The suspension bridge was great! Great place to have a picnic.
Artists Cascades (Conondale National Park)
27 Jul, 2017
Medium
5.3km one-way
2 hrs
We started our walk from camp site 1 which added 1.1km onto the walk but the walk is a lot longer than what we read on here, my Fitbit clocked that it was 8.4km to the Artists Cascades. The path was very narrow in places with a deep drop off that could be very dangerous in wet weather. I wouldn't say we are the fittest of people so it took us about 5hrs return, the path was steep in placed which was a bit slippery with leaf litter. There is a sign that advises only experienced walker to do a section of the path closer to the cascades. We saw lots of wild life: goannas, wallabies and lots of birds. Over all it was a great walk!
Strangler Cairn (Conondale National Park)

Interesting stone structure on a very short detour on the walk to Artists Cascades.

Nice short walk off the Ironbark track.
Ironbark Trail (Eumundi Conservation Park)
21 Jul, 2017
Medium
10.2km return
2 hrs
Followed the Ironbark Trail 4.5km but still didn't reach the end at North Arm -Yandina Creek Road Gate, and we walked at a medium pace. Nice wide tracks with some steep hills, slightly wet in places and there hasn't been any rain recently here on the Sunny Coast lately. There is lots of signage so track is easy to follow. Beware of horse riders, we came across a few even if the sign says no horses allowed. We plan on going back to complete this walk all the way to the end.
Cooloolabin Dam (Sunshine Coast)

Easy walk, so peaceful walking around a section of the dam.
