The Eric Joseph Foote Sanctuary covers a huge 23 acres site on Buderim's eastern slopes. Once farmland, it has been left to nature and the dedicated volunteer committee to regenerate into a wonderful woodland and a haven for wildlife and includes a creek and cascade.

The Junction walk in Kwiambal National Park goes to the junction of the Severn and Macintyre Rivers and along the way passes via The Dungeon Lookout which is steep gorge formation.
McIlveen Park Lookout is 3km west of Inverell and gives views of Inverell and surrounds
Lake Inverell was formed when the dam wall was put across the Macintyre River, the lake Reserve is now a peaceful spot close to town and is home to a large variety of wildlife
A 7.2km shared trail that starts off easy then head straight up the range before doing a loop coming back down again. Quite steep at times and rocky / gravel track. Does provide some nice views of Mt Philip and Glen Rock as you get higher up.
An easy but longer walk. Yet no hills so the little ones can go along on this hike.

This is an easy walk that you can choose to do the full nine kilometres return walk or take the shorter six kilometre return walk. It's the same walk, you just take a short cut to cut out three kilometres of the overall walk.
The walk does have some moderate inclines, but these aren't that challenging if you pace yourself, if you find these parts a little difficult.
The walk takes you past three huts built and used by early settlers. The information brochure that is available at the track head gives good insight and detail of the walk.
