A longer walk that can be done in one day by those who can push the pace, or done over two for those choosing a more relaxing pace or with young children. Some steep sections in the latter half of the walk before reaching the Light Line Road bush camp; the campsite of choice for those doing it over two days.

Route/Trail notes
Start from the Mt. Nebo waste transfer station and head along Dundas Road, which is to the left of the station on top of a small hill. At the Dundas Road camp, join on to Cabbage Tree Range Road and follow this for 7km until you come to an intersection with Taylor's Break at a creek. Continue straight ahead to Job 6 break until you intersect with Light Line Road. Follow this to the campsite. From Light Line Road bushcamp, continue along Light Line Road until it bisects Double Break and join Double Break here, following it until you reach Hammermesiter road and subsequently Mt. Nebo road.

Camping permits required for use of campsites on the trail. Available online for a small fee.
