Not a difficult walk, some may find this trail tedious, I didn't mind it and the end result is definitely worth it. The rock formation and the view is stunning. Tip: Bring insect repellent. If you're interested we made a short YouTube video covering the hike.

Was a nice walk even if fairly tame for the most part. The climb upto and around the rock was worth it. Great for most level of walkers.

Easy walk. Beautiful rock formations at the top with lovely views from the ridge.

Pleasant walk back from White Rock. Did in conjunction with the Ridge Hike

Lots of kangaroos.. and a red bellied black snake which added to a good walk

The walk to the rock is a bit boring but when you get there there's only one thing on your rind, climbing the rock. We're not meant to, but let's face it, we all do. Great views from the top.

A very good trail run with the incline towards white rock quite challenging. Loop around the rock and you will meet back up with the trail where you turn off left to go up to the rock on the way there. I take the little white rock lookout trail on the way back before finishing off the run back at the car park. Just over 7km if you do it that way.

I avoid this track as it's rather boring and do the ridge hike every time instead.

Did this on a cloudy day. It wasn't hard to climbed the rock, just a bit tricky and fear factor i think. Nice easy walk. The tracks are a bit difficult to follow which one is which.

Got a bit boring and monotonous, not much to see, no wildlife. Then turned towards the rocky outcrop and started to climb. Worth the trip for the views over the tree tops. Looking forward to travelling more trails.

Nice little workout

Started the walk at 6.30am and finished at 7.50am, easy walk but lovely at that time of the morning. Walked this walk before I started work.

Surprisingly there was a fair amount of people on a Sunday afternoon. The trail out is a fairly boring fire break with not much to see. The trees were alive with all kinds of birds, and we had a wallaby hop across ahead of us, but since the trail was packed with screaming kids, it didn't stay long. The stairs up to White Rock are the hardest part, and most of the families with small children turned around at that point. Once at the top, the views of White Rock and the surrounding area were absolutely amazing. Feel free to climb the rocks just to the left at the top of the stairs for some awesome photos. Definitely worth the hike, but beware of loud obnoxious families as this is a fairly popular trail.

Fun to explore the rocky outcrop, lots of tracks darting in various directions. Surprisingly popular on weekends. The walk itself is quite boring but still worth a visit. Maybe do the Ridge Track though.
Also, the map online is different to the map on the info board at the start of the walk. Completely different trails are shown.

A boring flat dirt road track for the most part. Things pick up when you start to approach white rock, climbing the rock face is worthwhile to see a 360 degree view of surroundings.

ShaveenKateleen on 11 Jan, 2015

Easy walk. Flat 98% of the way until you reach the stairs at the base of the rock. Take lots of water and maybe a snack for when you get to the rock as I always feel drained after a walk to White Rock.

Great views.
