This was a really beautiful walk and I was finishing up in total post hike bliss...HOWEVER....in the last stretch on Old North Coast Road I was attacked by a dog when walking down the street. This dog was reported in a previous post in April 2018 so I was careful when walking along the road. I stopped when the dog came up to allow it to smell me, however, it lunged at me and bit me in the upper thigh unprovoked. Very scary!!! I have reported the attack to the council so hopefully something will be done about this dangerous dog. However, I would strongly recommend trying to avoid Old North Coast Road.

Easy hike to Mt. Beerburrum, Mt. Tibrogargan and Mt. Tibberoowuccum. This track has recently been updated and looks beautiful. Lots of wild life to see along this track.

One of my favourite walks, started at around 3:30pm waited in silence at Jack Farris look out as the bush around came alive with all types of birds, finches, bowerbirds, mistletoe birds - sensational colours. The candle stick bottelbrush and Geebungs where out and looking healthy. Nice time of year and day to do this walk.

The hike is awesome, it’s not hard very well signaled, at the end of the hike at the Old Coast Road there are a few dogs and one of them cross the fence, very intimidating and big but it didn’t attack, just watch out when walking in front of those houses.

A great hike. Lots of new signage on the trail. More easy/medium. Really good cafe across from the carpark where the hike starts/ends.

It is a magical walk - you can feel something here. The view from Jack Ferris Lookout is really amazing, where you get a good view of a few of the mountains. It can be quite steamy in summer, although you are shaded by bush. No wonder its a popular walk & busy trail.

Followed the way Megs (2016) did it an found it easier to follow the track that way. Bit muddy at times after the rain, yet a quite nice walk.

Was a really enjoyable easy walk. We did it in the opposite direction. Starting from the 2nd Trachyte carpark & following the fire trail to the Soldiers Settlement Trail. Highlight was the view of Mount Tibrogargan with the macadamia farm in the foreground.

Walked after overnight 50mm of rain. Not much water lying around but exposed rock was slippery in places. Good walk wandering around close to some of the Glass House Mountains.
