Getting there

Travel to Mt Maunganui township and park anywhere along Marine Parade (or anywhere you can find parking around town). The track starts on the northern side of the mountain and is very well marked the whole way up. There are a few different routes of varying distances that are all marked.

Route/Trail notes

Very easy walk, it's like the Mt Coolum of New Zealand with exceptional views of the beach and ocean. Once you reach the summit there are multiple outlooks so you can get a complete 360 degree perspective.
