Getting there

From The Great Ocean Road at Lorne, turn left up Bay Street and follow to the end. Then turn right onto George Street. At the roundabout take the first exit to go onto Allenvale Road. This road becomes unsealed. Follow for about 1.5km until you find the Allenvale Car Park on your left. The Phantom Falls track begins from the other side of the road before the bridge. It is sign posted.

Comments

There’s mixed comments on distance. It was 3.6 km return according to my Apple Watch. Just drive to the end of the road and you will see a parking area on your left and trail on the right of the road. Was a gorgeous little walk. Quite steep in the beginning but your are amongst the trees! Worth getting to the nice waterfall. It isn’t big, but still lovely.

It was pretty hot today so it was a bit of a tough walk. It would be nice when cooler. There isn't a lot of water in the falls at the moment.
