Route/Trail notes

This track is a circuit that leads to a cascade. The gully is dense rainforest with Myrtle Beeck, Blackwood and Tree Ferns. It is also known for the glow worms that can be seen at night along the track.

If you take the path to the left the cascade you will find the track quite easy. There are bridges over water courses and the path is quite level. You could return back the same way, but near the cascade are steps leading up to a higher level. There is a very large tree up there, but the tree fell over in 2009. the track goes along high up for a short while before descending again. The track down is quite steep and loose. It would be easy to slip.

Comments

This is a fantastic walk. There were a couple of tour buses there when we arrived so it must be a really popular place. We would have loved to go at night, but it gets dark at the moment around 9:30pm so we decided that wasn't happening.
