Completed the walk today. Was fully aware that the Kin Kin Bridge was still not in use as it was washed away a number of years ago in floods. As previous walkers have noted, it is possible to swim the short distance if you are wiling to get wet. I opted for the swim as the bush looked thick and tough to traverse to the west. The track itself once you get over to the northern side of the creek is quiet over grown but manageable. It doesn't get much foot traffic these days due to the situation with the bridge. There is a section that where the track seems to disappear to a bit of a clearing. Be cautious of this and just stick right whenever you think you are suppose to go left. If you get stuck you can always walk south through bush to orientate your self with the creek. The track is meant to follow the creek. Had lunch out at Fig tree point, very nice and toilets are available, will camp at this site once the bridge fixed. Returned through the same track on the way home. Good day out, 5hrs in total. Would rate this a medium due to some difficulties navigating if walker is not paying close attention
