The rocky lookout does not disappoint. Lomatia and Curtisli trails now mostly covered with compacted crusher dust.

Certainly another hot day. Started at 4.00pm and it turned into a very pleasant walk with the sun setting amongst the gumtrees.

Timing was right for the peach/ plum/ cherry tree blossoms. Different varieties planted and likely pretty blossoms over an extended period of time.

Upgraded trail. Generous viewing platform and proper steps down to the beach. Return via the beach a bonus including the option to visit the rocky island at very low tide.

Excellent track through coastal clay heath. Checked out the Eric Wright lookout on Paterson Road as well. Interpretive sign.

Can be done in three stages. Presently road works near the Johnson Rd bridge. Will there be a safe Oxley Creek crossing one day?
