| Perfect sunny cloudless day with prior 3 days of no rain so track was not slippery and had no leaches. Was tough because of distance and constant climbing on the 'root' track. Took 6 hours up and 5 hours down, with only a few photo, snack and rest breaks, and a swim in one of the pools for a semi fit 55 year old. Was 19.2 km return according to my locus maps gps/track recording. Trail is well marked but the distance markers seem to measure the horizontal distance. Had a great view from the top as it was a cloudless sunny day. | ||||

| Not too steep (less than steep section of Mount Maroon) hike in the forest. Trail hard to follow in some sections, so need gps with trail marked to find or hold the track. Slippery sections, so mind the roots and rocks. No view from the top, but nice climb from 800m to the summit at 1375m. Took 5 hours to do a round trip, with about 1 hour of rests and looking around. Kind of hard to find the summit, it's pretty flat and wooded on the top. | ||||

| Not too strenuous hike of 3h45 minutes up and down (about 700m from car park to summit) with a few short breaks on the way up and down. (5.4km round trip). Walk-able climb to start, a dip, then a scrambling climb to a pre summit flat area and then easy climb walk to summit. | ||||

| Love the rain forest portion, and the lookout towards Lake Wivenhoe is spectacular. Was great walking in light rain which made it a cool walk in mid October. Want to do this one early in the day as it gets pretty warm in the afternoon. | ||||
