Rocky Crossing Track (Barrington Tops National Park)
Jun, 2018
Easy
16km return
5 hrs
Have walked this walk many times. It is long, but enjoyable and reasonably easy. It follows the Williams River so there are only slight undulations which makes it pleasant going. Rocky Crossing is a gorgeous spot to stop off for a bite to eat before heading the Return journey. Some interesting short side tracks to Lion Rock(less than 100m off the main track), Pool of Reflections (less than 1km return).
Careys Peak via the Corker Track (Barrington Tops National Park)
12 Apr, 2018
Hard
20km return
5 hrs
The Corker up to Carey's can be easily be done as a day walk if you have a reasonable level of fitness. It took me 6hr 50min return, with a nice long break at Carey's Peak for a cooked lunch. Don't be discouraged by the first 2km straight out of the carpark, stick with it, it does get better! The terrain changes many times as you ascend up onto the plateau. Selby Alley hut is a nice short detour off the track. A great track that gets you up to the 'Tops' where The Corker links in with many other walking trails.

Blue Gum Loop Track (Barrington Tops National Park)
27 Feb, 2018
Easy
3.5km return
90 mins
This date was the 2nd time we walked the Blue Gum Loop. This particular time we also did the Rocky Crossing Trail.
BG is a nice loop which crosses the Williams River with some steel bridges, very pretty, particularly after rain when the river cascades dramatically.
Would be a do-able track for children as it is a well established trail, clearly signposted and pretty.
Don't forget to bring your DEET or repellant of choice- leeches abound after rain.
Jerusalem Creek Track (Barrington Tops National Park)
16 Dec, 2017
Hard
2km one-way
1 hr
The whole region had been in drought, there was not a drop of water to be seen at the Falls themselves or in the gully. It was a hot day, but the tree canopy provided good shade on the trail. I parked at the 'top' carpark which is only a few hundred metres from the Falls, then walked the track down to the first (downhill) carpark. Lots of ups and downs, imagine it would be slippery in the wet. I opted to use the fire trail to walk back to my car as I thought it would be less strenuous- not a very pretty end to the walk though and had to contend with 4wders driving too fast near me, I should have just returned via the same trail.
