Getting there:

In Toowoomba, head south on Ruthven Street and turn right into Alderley Street (between Hungry Jacks and Subway) and after 300m you will see a parking area to your left, where the walk begins.

Route/Trail notes:

From the car park, cross the grass to the south to join the pathway that meanders around the various lakes and ponds to Stenner Street. Cross the road and continue around a further three ponds and the Steamers Rail Line to Spring Street, which you cross and into Kearney Springs/Wetlands Historic Park as far as Kearney Street, before return to your starting point. In some cases, the pathway goes either side of the lakes/ponds, so that you can come back by a slightly different route.

Found this pleasant park reserve walk quite by accident, while staying at Toowoomba Motor Village, where I was able to walk out onto it.
