There are about five different trails in the reserve, and you can do them in any order. This means you can do a few short walks or map out your own route and do a longer walk. Most of the walks are easy, with the exception of the climbs to the top of the two lookouts which are quite steep rough rock climbs. The views from both lookouts are well worth the effort though. The tracks have some signage, but it is still easy to get lost as the signs are too few and too far apart. There are a few tables and chairs at the lookouts so they make a good place to catch your breath, enjoy the view and maybe have something to eat. The walks are all through very open Eucalypt Forest and dry grass land. There are also a few dedicated mountain bike tracks in the reserve as well.
The walk starts at a small parking area at the end of Westminster St, Drayton. Drayton is a suburb on the south west side of Toowoomba itself. It is a little tricky getting off Anzac Avenue at the right place. Most GPS and/or phone Map apps will get you there.
