A straight forward trail walk by the lake through the shrub. We packed a picnic and enjoyed it by the water after the walk. Beautiful area!

Nice flat track. Great for easy morning walk. Some of the track was next to road, otherwise nice and peaceful walk.

Beautiful views of the lake and a wide track great for jogging and walking and close to home.

Hi, just did the walk with the gremlins. The waterline has increased so follow the fire trail instead of the waterline otherwise vegetation will be damaged. Lots of birds both aquatic and bush. Sighted eastern honey eaters, pied wagtails, yellow robins, finches, black swans, migratory ducks, cobalt water hens, magpies, pied Maggie larks, butterflies and lizards. No koalas, only drop bears! Cheers lovely trail. Little guys did it in 2.5 hours.

Wide track. Spotted a koala. It was a 6.8km loop for us.

Great place to go for a family picnic. The track was a little hard to follow as there was none, but managed to make my way around the lake by connecting the few paths and walking along the road in a few sections.

Lovely walk. We got a bit confused when we reached Forgans Park after half a km and the path seemed to disappear. However a rough track picks up at the other side of the park that follows the bottom of a rock wall. At the other end of the wall signage picks up again. I'm not sure if we missed something but the sign says 4.2km to Forgans Cove one way and we didn't see signage for a loop. There were a couple of side tracks however that we didn't take. The return walk took us one hour 50 minutes.

An easy walk with some nice lake views. Good for a cool afternoon.

I completed this walk in September 2016 and had an absolutely lovely couple of hours walking in sight of the dam. I previously hadn't known this area existed but it was a gorgeous walk and one I would highly recommend. Nice distance on an easy to follow track that reasonably flat.
