On the opposite side of the Maiala Picnic Area there is a small clearing. Some BBQ tables and chairs are there as well as a fire ring. At the entrance to the walking track there's an information board. Full great info and history.

Route/Trail notes
From the carpark walk down the hill along the road side (approx 200m), you will see the entrance to the walk on the opposite side of the road. The walk entrance is at the start of Joyners Ridge Rd. The walk is well signed see attached GPS for further guidance.
