Toohey Forest Park Loop

Brisbane City Council Local Walks

This is a nice loop of Toohey Forest Park. Beautiful bushland, but not really fond of the paved path. I guess it does support erosion control though. Otherwise, great ecosystems throughout, going from the dry Eucalypt forest, down to the riparian system at lower elevation.

Great native flora and fauna everywhere.

Route/Trail notes

It’s a bit of a quest: Start at Chevail st., go south on Grass Tree track, then south on Toohey Ridge track, before linking up to Nathan Ridge track. Near University rd., hit up the side track  to Intercampus Link track, then north on Toohey Ridge track, before meeting up with Grass Tree track again.
