Getting there

To get to Isisford there is a paved road from the North (from Ilfracombe) otherwise there are some dirt roads from the other Township in other directions.

Leave Isisford towards Blackall. Before you reach the weir there are a couple signs saying walking track; on the right hand side of the road.

Route/Trail notes

First start walking somewhat close to the river. There is quite a bit of tree coverage for shade, and even after a week of dry weather, there was still some muddy/puddles of water along the track.

Eventually the forest disappears and sunscreen and water is then highly recommended.

Unsure on length of track or if it loops around.

Permits/Costs

None.

Comments

Done the start of this track, forgot to bring water and my camera battery started overheating so I turned back.
If you're in town and want a stroll, it sure is nice walking through the channel country
