Eagle's Nest

Brooyar State Forest

A short walk to an ok lookout

Getting there

Follow the directions on the Brooyar State Forest page. A few kilometres after Peterson Rd turns to dirt a fork is reached with Peterson Rd marked straight ahead and another road heading up the hill to the right (there are numerous smaller roads branching off before this... so pick the right one :).

The Eagle's Nest carpark is marked, approximately 3km along the road.

Route/Trail notes

The walk is a short track to a lookout platform.

A track also leads off from the left of this lookout to the bottom of the cliff. This is the access route for the climbing crag. Please be respectful of the climbers and don't attempt to climb without the proper equipment and training.

Not sure it counts as a bush walk, but it was listed so why not. Climbing access, views are ok.
