Route/Trail notes

From the carpark there's a trail 100m or so on the right heading towards the Piper Commanche. Follow this trail for around 1.4km until you see an old logging trail heading left downhill follow it down for about 600m +\- then veer left off the track down to the creek.

It's fairly easy to see where your walking just caution is needed if you approach the waterfall from the side, it's best to go a little further down and then head back upstream to the falls, alternatively you could follow the old logging trail to the end then veer left to the creek and head up.

Comments

Well worth the walk, very dry today. Quite a steep drop in the last few 100ms down to the creek.
We saw stoney creek frogs and giant land snails.
Very thankful for the pink trail markers, even if they were a little too plentiful and took away from the adventure a bit.
