Comments

Quite challenging at beginning and feels like it never ends. Took an extraordinary 3 hours to do with two children. After recent rain the track was just mud in a lot of places and very slippery. Leave early in the cool and take plenty of water and snacks.

Have done this walk twice. First in 2009 and then in 2014. Fitness and good footwear are a must. Steep inline for the first part of this walk followed by a nice decline walk. There were times that we questioned if we were still on the path as there is little signage or defined track after the decline. Cool off in the creek at the end.

Starts off quite interesting through creek, then rain forest followed by a hike up the hill , follow this around and once walking downhill nice walk ending up other end of camp site.

First section is a bit of a slog and don't expect any views for it. Creeks a great place to cool of when finished.

The first 1 km is hard, and water is definitely a must. There is a swimming hole at the bottom to cool off.
